Here is my list for this week.  These are the deals that I have found on good-for-you products that are advertised at my local area Jewel, Target, Dominick’s, Meijer, Walmart and Walgreen’s stores.  I have provided links to coupons where I could…look for the recipe later in the week featuring one or many of the ingredients off of the list!

  • Buy $30 or more of P & G products (Pampers, Gillette, Olay, Crest, Aussie, Nice ‘n Easy, Oral B, Pantene, etc.) and get $10 Register Rewards!  Check out your latest P & G coupon inserts in your Sunday papers for some potential money-saving scenarios with this deal!

Megacool Healthy Made Easy Grocery List! 8/26

  • Wild Harvest 85% lean, all natural, no added growth hormones, ground beef ($5.29 for a 16 oz. package)
  • Frontera all natural tortilla chips ($5 for 2)
  • Hormel Natural Choice lunchmeat ($2.99 per package)

  • Healthy Life Whole Wheat bread (on sale for $2.09!)
  • Ragu pasta sauce ($.99 a piece, When You Buy 10- can be combined with other When You Buy 10 items, not to be confused with 10 for $10 items…it’s different!) ALSO, there is a coupon for $1 off 2 Ragu Pasta Sauces in the July 31 Red Plum coupon insert!  You could be getting these for around $.90 a jar! 

SuperTarget

  • Pepperidge Farm Whole Grain Goldfish crackers (COUPON for $4 off 2 big boxes of these found in the Wednesday Jewel Osco mailer!)
  • Archer Farms organic milk
  • Coffee Mate Natural Bliss creamer (COUPON  for $1 off one creamer when you go to the Coffee Mate Natural Bliss Facebook  page and “like” them!- Hurry before the coupons are gone!)
  • Stonyfield kids organic yogurt COUPONS
  • HappyTot organic veggie and fruit pouches
  • Swanson organic chicken broth
  • Organic strawberries AND blueberries for $2.49 a pop!  Just discovered this today!  Woohoo!
  • Market Pantry garbanzo beans ($.59 a can)

  • Hormel Selects all natural lunchmeat
  • Archer Farms 100% Whole Wheat Simply Balanced tortillas

 

**Also…I wanted to mention that Trader Joe’s, one of my favorite stores, has some good bargains on frozen fruits and vegetables.  I found ORGANIC frozen strawberries (12 oz. package) at my Trader Joe’s yesterday and picked up a couple bags.  You will not find fresh organic strawberries for this cheap anywhere, so this is a GREAT buy to use for salads, smoothies, desserts- you name it! AND, Trader Joe’s had watermelon for $3.99- cheapest I’ve seen anywhere! **

  • General Mills products- Buy 10 participating products and get a $5 catalina coupon good on your next purchase at Jewel (I got seven boxes of Multigrain Cheerios {on sale for $1.88 a piece}, two boxes of Fiber One bars and one box of Fiber One 90-calorie brownies).  Also, used 2 COUPONS (one you can find in the July 10 SmartSource insert for $1 off 2, go to SmartSource online to print out another) for the cereal AND a COUPON ($.40 off of 1 found in the July 17 SmartSource AND you could go here to print one off) for the brownies!

Meijer

$35 P & G coupon booklet and Driscoll’s berries deal! 8/7

Also, I just went to Jewel yesterday to get some good deals, and found out that their Driscoll’s berries are on sale (33% off!).  After comparing to all of the other local stores, the strawberries and blueberries seemed to be at the best price here.  And, to top it off, you can use this coupon to get another $.50 off any Driscoll’s product!  (you need to sign up and then print out the coupon from your email)  Don’t forget, you can stock up and freeze strawberries and blueberries very nicely!  Oh, and these would be delicious for the “Freezie Smoothie” recipe  I posted yesterday!

Megacool Healthy Made Easy Shopping List 8/5

Each week I am going to give you a “snippet” of my own shopping list that I have compiled by scrounging the store ads, online coupon deals and coupon inserts.  I am only going to post from my list what I have found that is on sale, a good buy with a coupon, and good for you!  I will tell you where to find the coupon and which store I go to for the deal.  Also, if you don’t have the SmartSource inserts from your newspapers that I refer to, you can go here to look for and print the coupon from your computer.  Happy shopping and eating!
