My favorite Black Friday deals! 11/23

Well, ready or not, Black Friday is almost here!  Whether or not you are a Black Friday shopper (I, personally, choose to forgo most of the craziness until Cyber Monday), some of the deals I have found posted online that will be happening on Black Friday are too good to resist!  Below is a list of some sites that I have found to be very helpful in rounding up these deals.  Happy shopping!  And, be sure to let me know if you scored a great deal this Black Friday!

1.  Hip2Save- This site has done a great job of rounding up deals at stores such as Macy’s, JCPenney, ToysRus, Old Navy, Best Buy, Kohl’s, etc.  It also gives tips on how to get the most out of your Black Friday shopping trip!

2.  TotallyTarget-  This site offers a list of all of the best Black Friday deals going on specifically at Target stores.  It does an excellent job of pairing coupons with the best-priced deals you will find on everything on your list in Target on Black Friday!

3.  TheKrazyCouponLady-  This site will show you where to go to get the best deals on holiday gift card promos during the season.  It details which stores give free gift cards or bonuses with purchase.  One of my favorites is from Victoria’s Secret- get a Free Secret Reward Card (worth $10, $50, $100, or $500) with $10 purchase through 11/30/11. Check out the site for more deals

4.  Mashable-  This article details the 9 best Walmart Black Friday deals, mostly electronics.

5.  WildforWags-  This site is dedicated to finding the best deals at Walgreens stores.  Click the link to be directed to a Gift-giving guide for the holidays for everyone on your list!  Lots of good deals and money-saving gift ideas are in the guide!

6.  The Thrifty Couple-  This site has a list of everything from coupon deals to recipe ideas to Christmas gift ideas, all on a budget!  I love this site and just enjoy perusing it for ideas and inspiration from time to time!

7.  All You-  The site to the popular magazine All You which has an article listing the best Black Friday deals in stores such as Staples, Walmart, Kohl’s, Michaels, Walgreens and more!

My Megacool New York and Company deal! 8/16

Ok, so I just had to share how awesome the New York and Company  deal is right now!  I was in dire need of some clothes to start the school year (since I’m a teacher, and I know many of you are, too!), and I had the coupon I talked about in this post  to use….so, I perused the sale section and ended up spending $113 out of pocket, BUT I saved over $245!!!  Yippeee!!!  For this price, I got two skirts, three pairs of dress pants, one cardigan, and one sleeveless suit jacket.  Keep in mind, this is all for work, so it is good quality and classy.  AND, to top it off, for every $30 I spent in the store I got $15 City Cash back!  So, I ended up getting $60 in City Cash back (to be used on future purchases)!  What a megacool deal!  Hurry in to your New York and Company to see if you can get an awesome deal, too!  Happy shopping!

     Head on over to the Rubbermaid website to start saving on their products!  I love their glass containers with Easy Find lids for storing and freezing leftovers from my Megacool recipes, such as this Shredded Pork one! 

Meijer Mealbox

     Did you know that Meijer’s website has a spot where you can go online and download coupons that you want on products sold at Meijer?  I didn’t know that I could do that until I discovered the Meijer Mealbox!  Visit the link to start saving even more at your Meijer!

FREE downloadable organizational tools!

     MommyTracked  is a cute website that offers lots of helpful suggestions on being an organized mommy and keeping your sanity!  I found these free downloads that will definitely come in handy for planning my next party and keeping my family’s meals and activities organized during the week.  Check it out for yourself!

More coupons, FREE Starbuck’s coffee AND FREE book downloads! 8/11

Here are a few other places to print out coupons that you can add to your Megacool couponing list!  There are lots of products you can print out coupons for, but I only promote and/or use the ones that are good for you!  (See My Philosophy  if you don’t know what I mean!). 

Here are a couple of websites that you can visit and print out coupons for things like Fiber One bars and brownies, cereals, and other General Mills products.  There are also coupons available for personal care items that you can stock up on!  (You will need to sign up to receive special offers for a couple of these, but it’s worth the savings!)

New York and Company is a great place to go for Back to School shopping for yourself (especially if you need new “teaching clothes” like I do!).  Use promo code 6388 to get $75 off of $150 OR 6461 to get $30 off of $75.  Also, use promo code 6524 to get FREE shipping on orders of $75 or more!  If you didn’t get the actual coupon in the mail (like I did), and don’t like shopping online because you can’t try on the clothes, here’s an idea:   Go to the store, try on the clothes, take note of (or pics on your phone of) the clothes you liked, and then go home and order them online to get the discount!

Also, I just went to Jewel yesterday to get some good deals, and found out that their Driscoll’s berries are on sale (33% off!).  After comparing to all of the other local stores, the strawberries and blueberries seemed to be at the best price here.  And, to top it off, you can use this coupon to get another $.50 off any Driscoll’s product!  (you need to sign up and then print out the coupon from your email)  Don’t forget, you can stock up and freeze strawberries and blueberries very nicely!  Oh, and these would be delicious for the “Freezie Smoothie” recipe  I posted yesterday!

Good deals on soccer stuff (boys and girls), Swagbucks & Gap discount! 8/4

I know a lot of us Megacoolmamas have our kids in sports, and soccer seems to be one of the most popular sports for little ones in my area.  If one of your little ones plays soccer, you may want to check out Totsy  and see what they have!  I was just looking and found THE CUTEST designed soccer balls, shin guards, backpacks and soccer cleats for kids! 

For example, I found this soccer ball for a little girl that originally retails for $17.50, and it is priced at 10.50 on Totsy
